TAMPA (March 2 2018)—Ten GeoChamp Geography Coaching students have qualified for their respective National Geographic State Bees. This is the second level of the National Geographic Bee competition, which is now in its 30th year. School Bees were held in schools with fourth-through eighth-grade students throughout the nation to determine School Champions.
Ten GeoChamp students were School Champions. School Champions then took a qualifying test, which they submitted to the National Geographic Society. National Geographic has invited up to 100 of the top-scoring students in each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Department of Defense Dependents Schools and U.S. territories to compete in the State Bees, to be held on April 6, 2018. All ten GeoChamp students who won their School Bees have qualified to State Bees in seven states and the District of Columbia. We encourage any other State Bee Qualifiers to join GeoChamp today to receive personalized, one-on-one coaching for any geography competition. Comments are closed.
