Instructor
Mrs. Geetha Muralidharan is the Instructor for GeoChamp Geography Coaching, a geography learning program meant for students willing to participate in any geography-related competition. Now in it's fourth year of existence, she started this program in the fall of 2016 to help increase the geographic awareness of young children throughout the U.S. She also volunteers at her son's former elementary school, where she teaches children in an after-school geography club. Success has always been within reach - in her first four years, she has already taught 28 school bee champions, 28 State Bee qualifiers, 16 State Bee Top Ten Finishers, 8 State Bee Champions and 4 National Championship Finalists in the National Geographic GeoBee. In the 2019-2020 Season, she taught 10 school-level GeoBee champions and 10 state-level GeoBee qualifiers. Unfortunately, the 2020 state-level GeoBees were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She also teaches younger students who excel in other competitions. Her method was created by her son, the 2016 National Geographic Bee Champion Rishi Nair, while he was preparing for the National Geographic GeoBee, and is proven to help children excel in geography competitions, and more importantly, develop a much better understanding for this changing world. She is looking forward to teaching many more kids and spreading her vast, in-depth knowledge to help change this world.
